right long story short I have a built 7m currently with a w58 box and a spec stage 5 clutch wich is ment to be on the way to me (orderd 2 monthes ago from sip still not here)

I now have been given the oppertunity to either sell my w58 conversion for $1000nzd and buy an r154 conversion for $2100 than I still need to probly sel my new clutch that hasnt landed yet for a loss and buy an r154 clutch

I was wanting to run about 500hp

or for $850-1000nzd buy brand new mk4 tt 4pot fronts and disks with modifyey jza70 hubs so it works on the mk3(brake kits ffor cheap dont come up very often here) and just run less boost untill later down the line can afford an r154

im now leaning towards the bbk as
I dnt have to sell my clutch for a loss or sell my currnt box
I really want one lol
to get my car leagal to drive on the street I need all mods certified this costs $350nzd weather its 1 mod or 100 (manual conversion doesnt matter if you use oem parts/ dont have to modify driveshaft)

I know at the end of the day its my decision but some advice would be cool

thanks scott

Would the bbk require certification?

If so, both cost the same to certify, or the brakes would be cheaper if certification is not required, correct?

In any event, we are running about 330rwhp, and need bigger brakes. MKIII brakes are barely adequate at stock power levels. We recently autocrossed the car, and our stock brakes were our weakest link in the chain. Corvettes, GT-R's, Elises, etc., were all outbraking us and making all their time in the heavy braking sections. IMHO, BBK all the way...

Good choice, I've read that the w58 is a much smother shifting tranny so maybe you would've been disappointed.
