this q is mostly directed at Adjuster mainly because he seems to have been the most outspoken about using The Right Stuff for gaskets on the whole engine..

but i was wondering if its ok to use Right Stuff for the oil line gaskets on the turbo housing.. my initial impression is that it seems this would be incredibly hot and might be a bad idea... will it hold up or should i get toyota gaskets?

i am about to ship my turbo to Performance Techniques for rebuild and 57 trim upgrade with no clip.. im not even sure if they include new gaskets in a rebuild kit.. so it may be a moot point.. i took all the oil lines and the wastegate actuator off anyway..

thanks

If that stuff gets into the center housing bearing area, that turbo WILL fail.
PT should send you new gaskets if they offer any type of warranty.

Some people swear by it. I, personally, have no luck with RTV.
My Subaru's pan still leaks after 2 tries... I don't know!
