i can tell u just as much info as that guage tells you. if u mash the pedal, u are going to be out of the lean range and vice versa. u could hire me as your narrowband a/f guage :D

with narrow band your only watch what the o2 sensor is doing. Which is always correcting between rich and lean, back and forth. non stop. Yeah there kinda cool, but there really just a light show.

Before widebands were really available what did people use? Egt and a narrow bands. Well the question/problem i post has been solved ..... but thanks for sharing with me your feelings on the a/f guage and not helping me figure out the problem ..... however for me its "purty" and i still BPU soooo with or without it my car runs just fine but when i get a wideband i will let you know but on till then i will ENJOY my light show.

People do the things that make them happy!! Now i am going to nearest 24/7 danger zone to get a $15 wing and some APC stickers to gain another 100rwhp :biglaugh:

Despite the lack of helpful response to the bulk of your thread, would you mind posting what the source of the problem was and how you fixed it?

It was one those things where i did something that had nothing to do with the o2 sensor and it magically worked. Pretty much my alternator had some really bad connections that i did not notice until earlier today when all my warning lights turned on while i was driving. I re-did the plug wires and bam!!! Everything is ok...... well atleast so far :)
