So Cal
Well when we changed the starter we went through hell!
when we started the car for some reason it ran like crap so i checked the hoses the one next to the coil packs was disconnected and and the on to the intake manifold by the firewall was on the floor so i connected both.
But I found another hose with a clip attached that connects to a medium sized hose.
I think it came off when we pulled out the starter at the begining...
Does anyone know exactly where this hose can go?
The car runs pretty good but the turbo is a lil slugish
and it ran perfect before the hoses came off.
So any ideas?
If you guys with 7m-gte can please look where the hose with the orangy yellow clip goes I would very much appreciate it
THANKS SUPRA GUYS!!!

The vacuum line that runs between the T and the boost sensor/cruise control has a clip on it to secure it to the brake booster line. What size is the line you have? Same as the line for the charcoal canister?

Well I will take a picture right now so it can be easier for you guys to see the hose is about 4inches...
I will take a pic of the engine and the hose!:naughty:

P.S. That last hose where my finger is pointing that one is going to the intake manifold to that T shaped hose by the fire wall. :icon_razz

damn, don't know what to tell you on that one.. best thing to do is get a vacuum diagram and make sure all the lines are there. that would be my approach at least.

I'd double check, but I can't seem to find a single clip that looks like that - http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/Figures/MAB027B.gif

IIRC, the only vacuum line that has that diameter is the brake booster line, that would fit into the bottom portion of that clip. Other than that, maybe one of the heater hoses? Those have roughly the same OD.

Those are the three locations to first check (brake booster line, and both heater hoses), at least that's what I would do but I don't much 7M experience (or Supras in general, for that matter).

EDIT: BTW, here's pics and vids of Merlyn's motor, I hooked up all the vacuum lines short of the PS idle up, EGR VSV, BVSV and charcoal canister, and that whole vacuum gallery BS underneath the intake manifold. http://picasaweb.google.com/boredMDer74/Supra

That black thing is a charcoal cansiter and that hose by the turbo is a vent, theres a little hole in the frame rail to put it in.
