i got a 91 toyota supra turbo with the stock 5 spoke rims. need new tires, so does anyone know whats the widest i can go on the rear?

ok cool. now if i were to go 245 instead of 255, would i still be able to lower my car? i was planning on the eibachs which would do 1.2" all around. thanks

i was planning on going 245/45/16. if i were to go staggered wheels w/ 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in the rear, would i be able to throw 275/40/18 without any problems or would i have to have some mods such as rolling the fenders, etc?

285's could fit if you rolled the fenders.. they should clear with a 2" drop... actually what i'm planning on doing... 285's in the back 255's on the front on 5zeigen 17x9's and 17x10's

edit: ahh.. you meant on the stock 16x7 rims.. ic.

I run 285s in the back, and 255s in front without rolled fenders.

It JUUUUST fits.

245 is fine on sawblades, 275 will work with a wider rim, provided the offset is right (mine are as close to the suspension as you can get).
