I have a 89+ turn signal (the switch that controls the signal/ headlights) and I was wondering if will work in my 87 supra.

I know the connections are different so it will not be a straight plug and play but I want to know if it is posible at all.

Thanks.

Yea I would think it would be easy enough, and I have one for an 89+ (bought it off e-bay not knowing there was a difference). Just havent had a chance to look at them side by side.
I was hoping someone might have a wiring schematic or a step by step guild.

I also want to switch to a 89+ steering wheel, I just have to look up what that involves.

are you talking about putting the 89 housings on an 87 bumper? if yes, it "can" work, you have a little wok to do to fit the housing, as since the 89+ are shorter, the bolt line up at a different place. so you will have to make a bracket,or change the support for the nose piece for 1 of an 89 +. and lengthen the grill. the bulb holders will go right in no problem.

EDIT: ohh , the turn signal SWITCH..

It's plug and play if you use an 89 steering wheel.

If you don't use the 89 steering wheel, you need to swap the slipring for the steering wheel controls from the pre-89 switch to the new one.

It's easy as pie and it basically plug and play.

Works great.
