89 Tail light conversion

Is there a how to for this conversion? I'm asking because the housings for the 89 tails that I got dont have the black cable that my 87 housing has...so i was hoping someone could help me out or at least send me those black cables im talking about for a small fee

you have JDM ones, use the bulb holders from your old tails, or clip the wires from the old tails and wire em in...

Your going to have to buy 89+ USDM bulb holders, I'm still in search for a set because usually people will not separate them with the taillights...goood luck!

bah, thought the bulb holders would drop in from the old ones...

lights are in the same places, but the design changed...

I found mine at a junkyard near Sacramento. That orange light is annoying as hell. I drove 3 hours just to spend $20!

i still have the old tails, so im guessing i just have to find where the wires go and re wire.

Do you mean the Tailight failure light?

Mine is coming on too, and I have JDM tails, but I have USDM bulb holders. I have tried so many different combinations of bulb holders, and it is still on. None of my bulbs are out either, I don't know how to get that thing off.

ive never got the light. just swapped everything and boom. done and done.
