Ok, so last weekend i changed the plugs, wires, dis cap and rotor. She ran great for 3 days then all of a sudden I come out of walgreens and start it up and put put put
misfire. Theres no knock, so smell of gas and as far as i can see no spark jumping anywhere. Just a little background, when i bought the car it ran like shit, he had the exhaust all
hacked up, wrong gap on plugs, cheap ass plug wires, throttle bottle looked like it had never been cleaned. So after i did the plugs wires etc. it ran like a champ, still a little hesitation
on acceleration but it needs a new fuel filter for sure, I cant do the filter till next week. What could cause the misfire after a warm start?
It really bugs me that it only happens when its at full temp.
The good news is I work just 10 mins away so it doesnt do it on
my normal daily drive.
Could changing the plugs etc, cause any issues with the o2 sensor?
I will check the codes when i get home from work tommorow, but I would appreciate any
input you guys have!
