Hello Supramania!

First of all, I was a proud owner of an AE86 that I honestly miss to this day! It all started when I visited my buddy in the Philippines who also had an AE86. I was not prepaired seeing this car in person. I was Shocked and Awed on how beautiful and imaculate this car was!:aigo: I realized that my buddy has the Cleanest Hachi I have ever seen and I just couldn't compete! I decided to get a new platform. I sold my Hachi to a good buddy of mine knowing she is in good hands. Here are some picks on when I drove her the last time. Also my buddys Clean Hachi!

During the time of my sale, my Co Worker was selling his 86.5 NA Supra. I was skeptical at first because the paint was fading on the car. It was rough all around and needed some TLC. The car was stock all around. My buddy told me the Mileage on this car.:yikes: A car this old and it has this much miles on the Chasis!?! My buddy told me he got this car at a Classic Car Dealership and he had it for 2 years! I was sold! I couldn't pass this car up so I decided to go for this MK3.

Anyways all this happened in Georgia 4 months ago when I came back from Iraq. I am now stationed in California, I recently moved here less than a week ago. I towed this car on a car transport from GA to CA to keep the miles down. My plans on the car are suspension and brakes for now.

UPGRADES I DID DURING GA.
-Suspension Technique Front and Rear Sway bars.
-Front and Rear Drilled Slotted Rotors.
-Removed and Replaced Oil Pump and Oil Pan Gasket.
-Replaced Stock Broken Tape Deck Radio with a Stock Scion XB CD radio.

PARTS NEED TO INSTALL
-Front and Rear Energy Suspension Bushings from Driftmotion.

Will Post Pics of Upgrades as soon as I settle on Post.

Short term goals are to just build up the Suspension and Brakes. I also want to paint the car but right now I'm still in the process of settling in CA. If a 7MGTE engine comes my way then I'll build that up (forged Internals, bigger cams) Right now just keep it stock and drive it daily. Heres an Engine Bay and Interior pics. 180015_1877879545462_1195443383_2319740_4526413_n.jpg168919_1877880585488_1195443383_2319749_1981860_n.jpg184783_1889104786086_1195443383_2339575_7755560_n.jpg180823_1877879665465_1195443383_2319741_7585274_n.jpg180655_1877880025474_1195443383_2319744_4337630_n.jpg

I'd skip on "building up the brakes" and just get some good pads and rotors if the current rotors can't be turned. That will give you more money for a quality suspension setup.

I mean even with modern brake pads, drilled/slotted rotors are pointless except for show. They were originally to disperse gas released by the brake pad under braking (surprisingly enough they had nothing to do with heat dispersion!). They also have less surface area than a normal rotor so you don't have as much braking force. Just a FYI.

I guess I installed the Drilled Slotted Rotors for looks.

Updates on my build... Installed Front and Rear Shock tower bars that I got from EBAY. and also replaced my stock broken radio for a Scion XB radio. (Thanks Bro! I finally have tunes in my car!!) Tinted my car before I left GA. Extremely dark in the rear and 35% on the sides.

I was pretty upset when I found that out too (I have d/s on my CRX).

I'm super jelly at the state of your car though, it's really clean!

Yeah she needs a paint job tho. Next upgrade is the bushing kit that I got from Driftmotion. Still waiting for housing in FT Irwin.
