Rebuilt 87 7mgte/engine harness in a 1988 N/A body.Fuel pressure is set at 36 psi with the vac line disconnected.Ignition timing is not set because i cant get it idling long enough to!I have the cps adjusted to where it was before i tore it apart.seems like it may be running rich?cant really tell.Newer accordian hose with no cracks, IC piping kit with t-clamps i'm pretty sure there is no leaking.ISC clicks when it dies, like its suppose to i think...I'm running bosch plugs...dont really know what else to check? The VSV for the fuel pressure regulator on my 7mgte broke so i stole one from the 7mge...look identical and plugged right in, anyone know if they are different?

P.S. cold idle it will idle for 30 secs...if it i give it gas and have it running for a while if i try to restart it will die within a secodn or 2

I would inspect the three ignition coil's and test for resistance in them, then is your AFM in good working condition? IMO I would change those bosch plugs cuz I had tons of backfires when I had those(im running NGK's now). Do you have any engine codes?

no codes what so ever, AFM tested out good...everyone's telling me to ditch the bosch's to...i have to get some ngk's...the car had been sitting for 2 yrs according to the PO, and i thought i had drained most of the gas out but today i drained the tank again, and after i put 2.5 gallons in last week i got aprox. 3.5 gallons out today. So now im fightin the stupid ass fuel filter and then new gas, filter, walbro pump, and ngk plugs.Hoping it will fix it.
