7mgte vs 7mge exhaust fitments exchangeable?

okay so i have an issue, my hks turbo cat back hits my diff when i just tried to mount it to a 87 NA. are the NA cats longer than the turbo cats? or is the NA midpipes longer than the turbo down pipes? speaking in location when on the car.

seems like if i had roughly an inch shorter cat, the hks cat back will bolt up perfect.

good question, i got both laying around so ill go measue the cats.

ok i measued them and yes the NA cat is 12.5 inches, and my turbo cat is 11.5, so theres your inch right there

Why are you putting a turbo exhaust on a non turbo car?

cause im swapping the car and i was just bolting the catback up to see if it would fit good. but thanks bioskyline!

I think you misunderstood Nick. I believe what he meant is that he is swapping the car. As in doing an engine swap. haha
