My engine began to have a slight rattle at idle. As I kept driving it got worse. Now when I start to come to a stop the rattling gets worse. After I got home I took the video and notice some smoke coming out. Can anyone tell me from the video what the culprit is? Have you bothered to see where the smoke is coming from. What kind of a rattle is it? Does it increase with rpms etc etc...these threads...
Sounds pretty gnarly. I would pull the cam covers off and inspect the valvetrain first. Does it still have good oil pressure? Any metal flakes in the oil? Nothing caught in the fan? Pull the clutch inspection plate and make sure the flywheel isn't falling off.
