1. will a 1990+ block work in a 1988 turbo i know the engine brackets are differnt, will their be any issues putting the 1988 engine brackets on the 1990+ block and putting in the car?
2. how much hp can the stock intake manifold handle without going to a front facing intake manifold?
3. if i a put in a racing radiator what is a good trasmission cooler to use?
4. forgot this i can put a 6m or 7m crank in no problems i can use either one in a 1990+ block?

Have to use the engine harness that matches the year. 87-88 89-90 or 91-92 are different.

Harness needs to match the vehicle, not the engine. A couple connectors will be different (such as water temp sensor) so either splice the proper connector or use the sensor from a pre 89 engine.

1) The block would work, there is no difference. You will have to change the engine brackets and use the correct brackets to suit your year of car. Put your 1988 brackets on the 1990 block.

2)I have seen 500HP on the stock manifold.

3)Get a large B&M cooler. For more info, PM Devin LeBlanc on this as he is racing in the 1/4 with his Auto.

4)You can use a 6M block in the 7M block of any year but if you have the option of using the 7M crank, you should. It is better balanced.

5)You can use whatever year block in your car. Put the brackets from your 1988 block on your 1990 block and then use all the electronics from the 1988. Some sensors are different such as the coolant temperature sensors. You will also have to use your 1988 harness, the yellow plug one.
