Just wondering what the stock average psi is. Ive had 4 NA supras and rarely have seen the oil pressure above 60psi. My supra is showing 80 or more any time im goin 30mph or more.
A week ago I suspected my front main oil seal was leaking. It was the only explanation I could come up with for EVERYTHING under the hood being coated in oil. I suspected oil was comin out from the crankshapft case an hittin the cooling fan and dispersing everywhere from there. I replaced the seal and all seemed good after a few drives around town. then I did a freeway test drive and sure enough oil covered everything under the hood afterward. Now Im suspecting the oil pressure is too high.
I will check responces and reply as much as I can but my access to a computer is pretty limited at the moment but any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated. This issue is causing me much grief as I depend on this car as my daily driver and am too broke to purchase another.
