Due to the wear on the plate over the past four years, the torque plate is no longer available. I apologize for any inconvenience with regard to UR build. Van

Oh well... Day late and now 355 dollars short. I ordered a torque plate from Richard Schubert (SIP Racing), on Tuesday. Thanks for the lead anyway! Just kidding. Thanks for the heads-up, guys! I'll see what I can do... Van

Great, I will contact him, now. Just sent an email to SIP as well, asking to apply the money towards an HK$ Stopper head gasket instead of the torque plate.
Thanks. Van

So far, I haven't charged anyone besides shipping costs. I used to ask for deposit to ensure return. But you will have to deal with who has it now as far as shipping. Just asking everybody to handle it as if it was your cylinder head :)

Rich of SIP Racing, is sending a 7M torque plate, and the rest of my parts this week. After I use it I might as well rent it out... For a fair price.:evil2: Van

sounds good to me, let me know -- I'd hate to buy one when I'd only use it once every 5 years...

It's time to revive this thread... Yes, the torque plate is available for rent.
Rental policy for the 7M Tq Plate: Deposit $355, in addition to your choice of shipping and insurance on the torque plate, shipped through the US Postal Service (Tq plate is valued at $355).
When the Tq plate is returned to me, in an undamaged condition, you get the $355 deposit back. What it costs me to repair the plate, will come out of the deposit.
Shipping and insurance is not refundable.
Deposits are held at PayPal, in the following account: kdvanloo@pcez.com

Update: Current wait time on the plate is at least four weeks as of 2/6/12; then there are the following in line for the plate:
1. Derek (Houston), " JDMMA70"
