7m injectors?

I have a 1jzgte. Im going to the junk yard to pull a R154 tranny for it tomorror from a ma70, 7mgte engine. Should I grab the injectors while I am there? Will they fit into my 1jzgte? I have a 255lph pump, and I would install an AFC and tune before running the injectors. I have used search, but its unclear. It seems that either they will work with a resistor pack, or they wont work at all, I just dont know.

Just for my information what is the difference? Is it a side feed vs top feed issue? Is it a fuel rail issue? In other words can certain other parts be added or is it just plain impossible?
Its just as well, doesnt seem like 440cc injectors will be enough for my goals anyways, 1jzgte with 400-500hp. I will need at least 550cc it seems, with an AFC and wideband, and a single turbo of course.
Am I right here? Have I done my research right? I hope someone speaks up if I am wrong.

it won't work because the 7ms are top fed while the jz's are side fed, so you could use the usdm 2jz 550cc injectors or the jdm 2jz 440 cc injectors. you can use the 440s to achieve your goal of 400 rwhp but anymore than that i would reccomend atleast the 550s

hey annoyingrob you have a link to those 800cc you are running or maybe a link to some smaller injectors that work with the stock rail like 680s or 720s?

They will fit in a 2jz-ge rail, not a 1jz/2jz-gte rail.

SH800A high impedance side feed 800cc
SH650A high impedance side feed 650cc

SH = high impedance
TH = low impedance.

Ok, so I think I know where his question was going.

I will be going megasquirt and have some rails laying around that will fit the 7m 440 top feeds, BUT will the USDM 7m 440's fit in the 1jz head? (custom mounting for the rail is no big, or I could get the 1jz/2jz top feed rail conversion from Driftmotion) I will be trying this over the weekend just to take a look at the difference. I haven't found much info myself on here or google, and this would make life a little cheaper and easier since I already have 2 sets of 7m black top 440's, two or three sets of the 2jzge brown top 330's, and a set of blue vvt-i 2jzge 240's (bleh, just garbage imo).
