I'm wondering what kind of 60' times others are getting on this suspension setup. I also have Lipp traction arms, 275/40-17 Nitto 555r's with a race weight of ~3,840 lbs. My best 60' is 1.89 what are others running with similar setups?

Thanks;
Kyle

consistent 1.63s eibochs and TEMS tokicos 3780lbs MT et street radials 255 50 r16 on the 5 speed. They actually work better than a stock spring since it transfers the weight faster assuming you have enough tire. Most people don't realize their diff needs attention and have half as much tire as they think they do because of this.

Is that with your PT67 setup, how much power do you have with that? I have some 16x9 wheels that have some 28" ET Streets on them, but I don't have skinnies for fronts so I want to do the radials or some 26" ET Streets, what do you suggest? I have a little over 400rwhp for now and will have close to 500 soon.

Kyle I had the same Nitto tires that you have and would get consistent 1.9 60' times. I'm just looking for lower, close to what Joliroger has. I'd be happy with 1.7's

Yes with the PT67. I don't know how much power the setup makes, but I was trapping mid 120s. Power wouldnt affect the launch much anyhow on a 5spd, turbo size would however. I ran the 26x11.5 et street with radials upfront and the car was plenty stable and 60' in the 1.6s as well. I don't think you should really sweat the skinnies on a high 11 second or low 12 second car, but people have varying opinions on that, so do this at your own risk. I ran my truck to 9.40s on radials and that felt stable too, even when I had to make some corrections after some wheelspin.

The nitto is really my least favorite DR and the 17" rim isn't helping you, but I still wouldn't be blaming the tire, you should still be able to get 1.7s out of that. Like I said though, if the dif needs work, you only have half the tire you think you do. I know when my dif was ready for servicing the car would drop to a 1.7 and kick a hair to the side when I would let the clutch out like clockwork.

I'm not trying with the Nitto's any more that's why I got the setup with the ET Streets and put some BFG Gforce tires on the rears now. The wheels I got that are 16x9 are only 11lbs so I'm happy. My car usually just squats and goes, so no real turning of the back end.

The Nitto's were great tires though for street/strip use though I made about 30 passes and got 9k miles out of them.

Kyle what mods do you have on your car? love the sig pic btw.

i am currently thinking of useing the stock saw blades with some 26/10.5/16 mt et streets or 26/9.5/16 hoosier et streets but id like a little more tire.
