Hey guys, what's going on. So the time has come for me to swap in a 2JZGTE in my Mk3 Supra. I've been watching the 2JZ-swap-madness accelerate over that last 5 years and honestly, I'm fearing the worst in the next 5 years as these engines will be both over priced and hard to get. So I'm going to get one while I still can!

However, I've been losing my mind searching turbo options all day for when I swap in the 2JZ. My power goals are 550-750whp on a 62mm turbo that will hit full boost before 4000rpms. The options I'm considering are a Borg Warner s362 (also the s363), a Garrett GTW3884r (62mm) and the Garrett GTX3582r.

The Borg Warner s362/s363 will be easiest on the pocket and will reach my power goals however, I think there would be a downside for quick spooling? Correct me if I'm wrong... https://agpturbo.com/s300sx-e-series/

The Garrett GTW3884r turbo does not seem to be a popular choice among Supra enthusiast, as everyone goes straight to Precision. But it was Precision would got their technology from Garrett; hence the reason for Garrett releasing the GTW series in the first place. I think this turbo is the best compromise between cost and quick spool. http://www.atpturbo.com/info/garrettgtw.html

The Garrett GTX3582r is the best turbo here (not to mention the new GEN II).....PERIOD; but damn, you will pay for it! http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchan...tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-102&Category_Code=GTX

So, I'd like to hear what you guys would choose for a turbo option and why (cost, hp, rpm spool, etc)? Or if you've had any experience with any one of these turbos on your Supra or a different turbo not listed here that you'd choose.

Much appreciated, thanks!
