I am Pim, and are doing a 2jzge swap into my mk3 supra. The engine came from a lexus gs300 1994. But i had the last 6 months problems with running the engine. The lexus ecu had 2 immobilizers in the ecu, but i didnt know that, also did the seller.
Last month i heard from a computerguy from school that there was a immo in the ecu, and saw that there was something burned. So i stopped the idea with using the original ecu. That's because it costs me a lot of money for buying a new/used ecu, than 300 euro for deleting the immobilizers, and maybe later trouble codes because of the automatic gearbox.
I am using the original w58 gearbox from the mk3. Now i am looking for a self programmable ecu, and found one, for 250 euro, only i have to make it self into a box. Now making my own harness, and have +- 60 more horsepower.
I'm sorry for my english, and hope i look more at supramania. Always looking on supras.nl, but i get a message that i need to post, because i never had posted here, i was always only reading here, and needed info for the 2jzge.
