2jz bellhousing

Will the 2jz bellhousing fit the 1jz engine and r154 tranny?

The 2jz bellhousing will fit the 1jz motor. What transmission is it coming off of? If it's off of the auto then it will fit. I don't know about the V160.

Not true.

You can take a 2jz W58 bellhousing and mount it to a 7m W58 trans and itll work fine.

Getrag V160 don't have detacheable bellhousings......

Looking at the OPs post, I think me means a w58 bellhousing to a r154, and no it will not work. The only bellhousing that will work is from a 1jz.

They are, but there is no 2jz R154 transmission, it was only available on a 1jz.

Sorry was giving the awnser too short.
You can mount the V160 or V161 to either the 1JZ or 2JZ
As a 1 piece tranny it doesnt have diffrent bellhousings.

You can mount the R154 to either the 1JZ, 2JZ or 7M (Tech: the chevy ecotec as well)
You can mount the W58 to either the 1JZ, 2JZ or 7M also.
All you need is the proper factory bellhousing to go between them.
