I found a great deal on some 225-55-16's for the sawblades I have on right now. What is the physical difference between those and the 225-50-16's I have on it now.

the second number is the ratio to the first number (tire width). so the new tires will be 55% of the width, whereas the stock tires are 50% width. did i do that right, or was i misinformed?

i believe its 55 milimeter sidewall... first number is width in mm, second is sidewall height in mm... last is rim size...

So they should be the same width. Someone needs to come up with a better tires sizeing system.

And it is 225 mm at the sidewall mounted and inflated but no load.

Who is running a 245/45 on the stock sawblade or 5 star? Pic?

While this is up can I change direction just a bit and ask if anyone has mounted 15" rims on a MA70? Will they clear the brakes?

I only ask cuz I have an almost brand new set of 255/50ZR15 Bfg Comp T/As that have just been sittin. It may look funny but they should stick in some corners too.
