Those are the body plugs.

So you will have to find out what wires you need and which ones you don't.

Will I have to get the plugs that are missing or something? I've read about the whole 1jz wiring thing but it's got me all confused about it.

You will need the 3 body plugs unless its an auto then you need 4. They are interconnect plugs b1, b3, and m1. You need b2 for auto cars. You need a TSRM if you are going to do it yourself.

It is weird looking at my notes from 13 years ago when I did swaps. I still have how to wire every year supra for a 1j and 2j. Those were the days.

You're welcome!

Since you are missing the harness-to-dash connectors, you can actually use a universal connector(s) to bridge the 2 together. I'll try to get a pic of what we did with a friend's 1JZ and post it later. I basically used 2 ~20-wire sets of connectors, which I cut from my Aristo front clip, from other dash/body circuits.

Figure out the signals you need, trace/label each one/wire, then "link" to the dash somehow. You'll be golden...

Good luck!

Basically, a connector that had around 20 wires. Some of the ones on my connectors did not match up, so I removed/repinned, so that each wire has a mate on the other side of the connector. In friend's 1J, we drew pictures to document which signals are being made thru each of the pins. Make sense?
