I was wondering if you guys would be kind enough to help me out. What parts of the harness need to be changed? I'm putting it into my 1987 NA. Could I get some sort of list with all of the changes to connections, and what needs to be changed on the body harness. Do I need to change the body harnesses completely? The plugs on the harness that came with the engine look nothing like the ones already on car.

Thanks for putting up with me :)

Mr. Surferofthesnow, you're probably going to have to be surfer of the search button. There are a lot of threads on the 1jz swap and they should tell you just about everything you need to know. Ethan (92tealsupra) is going through the same problems at the moment so you two may be able to help each other out. Good luck. The swap isn't that hard, but it does take a lot of reading and searching.

You will need to extand all of the ECU harness about 16-18 inches to reach the stock ecu location.
You will need to extend and repin some of the body harness though according to the wiring diagrams. Look in the 1JZ section FAQ.
