1JZ water pump gasket

I had to tear down the front of my car two time in the last two days. First was because of a leaking Hydrofan. Now I am pouring coolant out of the weeping hole of the water pump. I have an extra hydro fan so I installed that. I also have an extra water pump but no gasket.

Where would I get a gasket? Or would using RTV good enough. I don't want to tear it apart again.

If going to the clutch setup wasn't so expensive I would do that, just can't drop the $$$$ right now.

A gasket for any 2jz is the same. Any parts store should be able to get one. cough:toyota.

yeah but this is the 1JZ water pump/hydro fan, don't want to spend the money if it won't work.

I didn't mean any disrespect. I believe you I just see some people answer questions without fully reading/comprehending the question. I will try the gasket for the 2JZ. Either one will work? GTE or GE?
