1JZ VS 7M BHG repair

Tried search (I'm always afraid someone will kill me for it :icon_razz )
Would like to know from those who have dropped a 1jz.
How much did you pay for your engine
How much did you pay for the swap
If you did it yourself how long did it take
Also about finding the 1jz, is there any other options besides craigslist / ebay ?
Id much rather buy the engine alone instead of buying a car with one.

i want to know how much the labor is compared to the bhg labor

Just doing the BHG repair with a stock gasket and arp headstuds would probably cost you roughly no more than $200. And doing it yourself should take a weekend, but if you wanted a MHG then you should have your block and head decked and thats where the $$$ starts to add up. It all depends on what kind of headgasket repair youre wanting.

How much did you pay for your engine-$1100 shipped from Osaka Motors (soarer 1jz/auto. Put a R154 on during the swap)
How much did you pay for the swap-Did the swap myself, but bought a lot of extra stuff. Total of over $8000 so far
If you did it yourself how long did it take-about a month. Started the swap and then got deployed.
How hard was it to find the engine-easy
Would it be worth it to just swap instead of repair the 7M.-Depends how much money you have.
Also about finding the 1jz, is there any other options besides craigslist / ebay ?- Driftmotion, JHot, and a couple others.

im about 4k deep and its BPU. ive got abotu 40 hours into it, including some maintainance. JHOT is where i got my motor.
