Alright, so I've searched through the entire JZ section here on SM, and have found that most all the valvetrain parts are interchangeable between 1j and 2j. The issue I am having is sourcing oversized valves for my 1j. For 2j, they're all over the place. But the 1j? Seems non-existent. Not even JUN seems to make them, which kinda surprises me.
I've been told that if the valve stem sizes on the 1j/2j are the same length and diameter, that the seats can be cut to fit, but I kinda have my doubts about an intake valve that is 2.6mm bigger fitting without serious issues...
I don't have a problem going with a custom sized valve, but if anybody knows of a place I can get +1mm valves for the 1j, PLEASE let me know.
