1JZ trigger offset

just wired up my new linkplus G3 ecu which is mint but stuck on the trigger off set.

Trigger Mode is Multi Tooth

Tooth count 12 on crank

Sync on Cam

Trigger one and two set to Reluctor

any help would be great otherwise wil go get me a timing light also its non vvti if this helps

Set the tooth count to 24 with the sync only on the back cam sensor closes to firewall). you shouldn't need the front cam sensor(near front of engine) at all.

What igniter are you using? What coils? Did you set the dwell and and the dwell edge?

using a EMS 3 channel ignitor and some 7M wasted spark coil packs dwel is at something like 3ms and on the negative edge someone told me it was 8degrees out but tired that and no luck guess i will just have to get the timing light on to it

fwiw: back cam sensor is 70deg btdc.

thanks mate found it was -7 degrees on mine took froever to work out why it wasn't starting but had the tooth count on the crank set at 24 but all going now time to tune it up using 3 ct12s and to sets of 390cc injectors should be interesting to see how the budget project goes hehe
