How much hp can a 1jz stock auto-tranny handle?

i would guess the same amount a stock 7mgte auto can handle...

Ive heard they are a little beefer than the 7m one but who knows...

IIRC about 400 RWHP. But I would upgrade the tranny. There's a thread somewhere on here on how to beef up the A340E. There's also a company I found a while back that rebuild the A340E so that it can handle high-horsepower motors.
