1jz Stock Twins

Ok my 1jz is all stock with twins... i have a 3 inch downpipe from cat back its 4inches though, does it matter if it 4inches with a 4inch muffler?

Lol ya i used to have a 7m with a t4 turbo... now that i did my swap i wasnt sure if i should get a new whole exhaust or just keep the same one from my 7m

Exhaust is exhaust. If you really get a big single at some point, you might want to fabricate a 4" down pipe, but i don't think it will be necessary. 3" is more then enough flow for most people.

if you have a 4in exhaust system why not get a 4in muffler also? if you use the 4in exhaust piping and a 3in muffler there would be no point in using the 4in exhuast piping because that creates a bottleneck at the end of your exhaust system

i do have a 4inch muffler... i just have a 3inch down pipe.
