1JZ Single Turbo Project

Hi everybody,

I just got a 6262 Precision Turbo for my Single swap, took the engine out on July 3 with the help of Andy. Also had the engine bay painted...will keep posting updates as I progress along. Pics will be included next time.

tell me the secret to painting... I've tried to do my bumper with my compressor and 3 stage and it doesn't turn out too well.. I'm not quite sure how to use my gun that well either... I need to do some touch up work on some stuff.

Youtube teaches you a lot. It did for me.

NICE! I have the same turbo setup...I will hopefully be back on the road soon. I cant wait to see how its performs. The DSM and Grand national guys love these turbos so far. One guy on SM dyno'd 520 rwhp @18psi on pump gas with this turbo. So im super stoked about getting it on the road...

Keep us updated and you better have a nice camera for vidoes. I sure will.

im going to start with my 440cc drop in bet i have a set of 550cc bet i need to do the resistor pack

Would those 550's be the USDM 2JZ-GTE injectors? If so leave the 440's in there since they both flow the same. Besides, with the 440's you'll have less crap in your engine bay.

Those injectors are going to be tiny for this turbo. I have Sard 550's and i regret buying them now. I wish i would have bought 680's or 720's...

Agreed. Angel (OP) has a 550 USDM injectors that was just cleaned and flowtested. I will ask him what the flow rates are and compare it to my jdm 440cc.

This will end this myth once and for all.

its been ended a while hehe but go for it. its just the difference between high imp and low.

my 440cc per the clean and tested tested 440 and the 550cc flow 550 i will scan my 440 sheet later
