I know they both work for the 2JZ aristo swap, but are they exactly the same? identical? meaning the pan baffle, oil pick-up tube, etc?

Thanks a lot

looked exactly the same on engines i worked on, only difference i saw in any oil pan setup was the pickup screen design was changed from 92-93 the newer ones seemed more round and less oval.

edit : everything still bolts up and the N/A pan already has a fitting for oil drain and just needs to be drilled and tapped with studs

I have a 1j and 2j pan I just ordered from Champion, the upper aluminum part is the same, the lower steel pan is a little different, the 2j one has a round raised up area on the bottom where the pick up sits. They both work though.
