1jz plugs, what do these do?

Im gunna trace them out soon, but if someone could tell me what they are it would help. both come off the engine.

Those pics suck, the one looks like the reverse light on the tranny.

The second one looks like it may be the starter wire or depending upon where it was generally located on the motor could also be a water temp sensor wire? But my bet is that it's a starter wire. The one that ground the starter to start cranking.

Maybe the alternator, and power steering? Need to see the wires. And I'm thinking the starter.
