What would happen if your map sensor was shot and doesn't work? What are the symptoms? No spark? No fuel? Let me know thanks.

When the vacuum line came off my map sensor, the car ran like total crap, but it ran. Although the sensor was still hooked up.
The only effect it will have is mess up your ECU's ability to correctly determine airflow and therefore meter fuel. You will still have spark and probably some kind of fuel, but the engine won't run right and possibly not at all.

ya it should just make it run like crap. i had a problem with my fcd, and a map code. just made it run like shit, had to keep on the gas to keep it going.
