1jz camshaft torque?

I'm installing cams into my 1jz and I was wondering if anyone knows the factory spec on the camshaft cap torque in" in-lbs."

I think it was 15ft lb, but don't quote me

tsrm for the 7m is 14 lb-ft, so anything in that area sounds about right, but i dont know for sure

For the 1jz I read somewhere when I did mine and it was 12lb. I thought that was low, but that's what I read. Good luck.

It is 14ft lbs, but it is not just a 'put them in and torque 'm down'. There's a sequence of three turns you need to follow to properly install them, all bearing caps are also installed in a certain order.
