1jz boost issue

my 1jz runs fine when im on stock boost but when the boost is incressed the car runs really rich would a s-afc2 fix this problem? or is it just some factory fail safe in the ecu?

was at 15psi when i got the car now i have it back to running off the stock wastegates

Well, I want to know how you know it's running so rich. If you open up the exhaust on a stock ECU Supra and crank up the boost, even a little, you are going to smell a little more fuel in the exhaust, so if you are using the nose to monitor A/F ratio, you may have nothing to worry about. We run rich, period.
