If I read his quetion right, he has a 5-speed car and is going to use a spare auto ecu. If this is true, then the wiring for an auto is not there and there would be no nuetral safety switch to bypass.

Also, if the car was originally an auto and was converted to a 5-speed, then he should have already bypassed the switch to begin with.

I think that you might be correct. It is just worded kinda weird.

But it seems to be running rich... Hmm... Do the ecus have different fuel maps?
