Well this is my first post here so I hope I'm doing it right.
I was looking at the BC 272 cams for my 1jz build but I read that it turns the motor into an interference motor. Frankly that makes me scared of breaking timing belt disasters and what not.
So my question is since I'm putting a metal head gasket in, if I get a thicker head gasket such as the Apexi 2.1mm thick one, will that space the head away far enough to bring it back to a non interference motor. I heard 272 cams made it just barely an interference setup.
Ps. Please don't wreck me if I've overlooked something stupidly obvious, just need help.
