1J Power Steering Pump Nipples?

So I relocated my PS reservoir tonight and I noticed this part with 2 nipples on it coming off the PS pump. There isn't anything connected to the nipples and I'd like to know what is is and if I can replace it with a simple bolt to plug the hole if it's not needed. Here's the part I'm talking about.

Theres 2 vacuum lines from the intake manifold that go to them. Ill try to get a picture of mine tomorrow (if i can remember) if you decide to keep it.

This is to bump the idle up slightly when turning the steering wheel while stationery.

One nipple goes before the throttle body and one after it.

When the pressure drops from the fluid being used, it opens up allowing air to bypass the throttle body, raising the idle.

It all depends if you want idle assist when turning while stationary. Just remember to give a little gas when turning

It's not currently connected and I'm not having any issues. I think it's time for it to go away.

What? If all it does is bump up the idle while I'm stationary and turning the wheels I might as well ditch it since I can give it a little gas.

Your choice. You are also on an EMS so you can account for it.

I took mine out.. they were broke off when it came to me.. I just unbolted the banjos their and took the vaulve out alltogther.. I have never had it hooked up. So I would not know what it was like with out it.. my car idles about 8 to 9oo and it does not bog at all.. but that again I'm turning a bmw steering box. So maybe its different

My idle is @ 650-7 and without the valve is @ 550-6 while turning. I hated without it.
