1J/2J Coilpack Upgrade

I noticed a company called Okada Projects makes an upgraded coilpack system for the 1J/2J motors. They are direct drop in with no modding required.

Only $270. Anybody running these? I need to replace my coilpacks, so I might as well upgrade right?

That $270 looks to be for the ignition amp (plasma booster). no listing for the coils (plasma direct) for 2jz :icon_frow.

Yes, the "plasma direct" products are the coil+amp...

But the application listing for the 2jz supra is for the "booster direct" product... which is amp unit only. Look at the "item" column in the listing.

Notice how much more expensive the plasma direct coils are for the 4 cyl motors... The 6cyl versions for other motors are all over $1K. $270 is for the amp unit alone.

yeah I see it now. I think it's better to do an HKS DLI with new/newish stock coilpacks.
