Im doing a 1ggte swap into a 89 supra n/t and have a quick question.I have tried searching and havent came up with anything. Can you use a 7m igniter and coil with the 1ggte? If so how do you wire it up? Hopefully some one can help me out here sorta stuck.Thanks.

I was under the impression that the 1GG had a distributor.....
And I know that the IGG distributor is slightly different from the 7M.
The differrence is that it does not have a shaft sticking past the drive gear like the 7M does.
But if that is the only difference, and the gear teeth, and depth is the same as the 7M,
then you should be able to modify the 7MGTE cam pos. sensor to fit.
Then you could use the 7M electronics, and ECU.
But then the injector pulse time will be off from what the 1GG requires.
So you would probably have to fool with the tune on it with something like an Apex Super-AFC.
