Hey Jeff:

Some dealers (Obviously not yours) had a "turbo appearance package" for the NA Supras. (Biggest waste that I've ever heard of) They'd bolt on the spoiler and put the turbo badging on NA cars. I only know this because I ran across someone who had it dealer installed.

That is very gay.

No Nissan comes from the factory with a spoiler (except the Nismo 350z), we always put them on and yes, they bring a templet that we lay on the car, tape it down and use a center punch to mark where the holes go. Then we remove the templet, and start drilling.

As far as other automakers... I don't know.

i kinda figured that but i dont know ive never worked at a dealership. my car was made the same year i was born so i cant really say i did it. my dad use to do it and he said thats how he put them on. idk

Your dad was there, he did it, shit, he prob PDI-ed your car when it came in on the transport. lol

Go with his advice.

I'd call Toyota before actually going there first. If that doesn't work out, PM me and I'll head to my local yota dealership where I have the hook up and I'll ask.

I would like to make a sugestion for the one off template. This is what I do. Start with tracing paper that will cover the installation area.(you may have to tape several together I go to an art supply store) with a pencil trace the 3 pc. Spoiler in its installed configuration. Take your tracing paper template to the car and use that to figure out where you need to punch and drill. I know there are going to be some challenges with wing being the 3 pc. I have only used this technique on 1 piece. Good luck. And if you do this let me know how it worked out.
