Got a question, From what I have seen is when you are driving just cruising the Normal light is on, and when you punch it the PWR light goes on, due to more fuel consumption. I don't know if this is the case on my 88, but I have a switch right near the shifter that is labeled ECT, When I press it the light changes from normal to power and so forth. I don't notice anything different in driving or power. So the question is, is it supposed to change on its own based off of driving? Or is that not the case on the 88 models.. If so what activates it?

Thanks In advance,
Devin

Doesn't change while driving, the switch effects the shift points in the tranny (good example is that in normal mode it usually only downshifts one gear when you put the gas down from a roll, pwr it will drop 2 gears)
