I recently got my 1st Supra, what a great car. It needs some work, I am following up a Mechanic that did a HG. I have several issues and already have learned allot through the use of the search tool.

The car will not pull hard and feels like it has a cylinder not participating throughout the rpm range. If you run along at 3000 rpm you can feel the cylinder jump in.

I have a VSV that has the electrical connector with a wire broken off flush so it is not connected. The vacuum lines are hooked to it. Do you think this is the problem?

I did check the plugs and they look new.

Well the VSV wire is repaired, all switches and lines are plugged in.

It still will not pull hard and doesn't feel like it is running on all 6 unless you hold the throttle steady or roll out of it just a little. Any suggestions on where to start would be appreciated. I will double check plug condition and spark.

What would you check if I there is good spark?

Compression test. All injectors working? One either clogged or dead will give you the same symptoms. Engine ear will tell you if they're working or not. How's it idle?
