Hello everyone...here's my "old ass Supra" 82 7mgte...Florida car-no rust. Getting ready for a new turbo & some other upgrades. The swap was done back in 1992 so the motor has held up for over 17 years-not bad:)...although motor is getting pulled soon for new bearings, fuel upgrades, new MHG, etc etc. A few pics for ya:

ALSO AM IN NEED OF A FRONT LIP FROM EREBUNI OR KAMINARI BODY KIT IF ANYONE IS HIDING ONE-(CAR DIDNT COME WITH ONE) THNX

Thats not bad sounds like u got a mid 12sec car or low 13sec

Previous owners best track time @ 18 p.s.i. was 11.94 (not sure mph) I usually drive it around 10-12 psi maybe 15 once in a blue moon....

Before everyone starts calling "b.s." -no I didnt see the time slip nor do i have it....I believe him because the prev owner/seller proved VERY trustworthy & had no reason to BS me...I didnt even find out his track times til months after I bought it.

Either way its a fun car & def hauls ass.

Yea wit some slicks on it and a perfect day at sea level..Any idea whats its puttin to the wheels??

Most setups similar to mine using the upgraded ct26's with supporting mods max out at around the 390 ish range...

I fully believe he did it--must have been a perfect launch & great run--I couldnt see doing any better than that....not with stock turbo anyway. Of course the mk2 def has a good weight advanatge over mk3 also.

My car weighs about 3400lbs with me in it (230lbs) & a half a tank of gas.

i like the idea that the swap was done in 92 that was long ago and the 7mgte at that time was pretty penny so the swap must have bena done well

Nice car. btw, you say you need a Erebuni front lip? Well there's a guy on Toronto Supra Club thats selling the entire kit. Maybe he'll part with the front piece. Here's the link; http://www.torontosupraclub.com/index.php?topic=2178.0

(PS. This isn't my sale, I'm just trying to help!)

I spoke to the builder of the car (now in his sixties) who said that Reg Riemer's article first came out about 6 months AFTER he completed my build....which means that my car may be one of the first if not the first 7m into a mk2 swap ever done....(relax, I said "may be" ) but yea it def stood the test of time.

looks like u just bought it of the showroom floor. :)

The car has been painted 9notice no more pin stripe) but it was done "the right way"....totally stripped down, all seals replaced & trim.....etc
