Yes you will need to roll your fenders, SupraNick runs an 18x10.5 in the rear with a +22 offset and needed a lot of fender roll and fitment.

50% correct.

but im running 18x10.5 rear with +27 offset on Dunlop Sp9000 275/35 and rolling the fenders was NOT ENOUGH! my 4 fenders were CUT, Pulled 1", then welded back together and then sanded smooth and repainted.

fronts are 18x9.5 +27 offset with 245/40 up front.

here's a pic...http://www.supramania.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=1715

nother pic next to Nino's car for comparison to stock. it's a subtle pull, which is what i told the body guy, to make it look as stock appearing still as possible...

Test fitting in the garage when i first got the wheels. u can see hwo far they stick out!

Hey Nick, have you considered running with a 275/35/18 instead of a 40 series? Thats a pretty tall tire, which is probably hurting your acceleration times, not to mention throwing your speedo off.

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but does anyone have an opinion on the best offset to run with 17x10.5 (If you had your choice)?

Thanks

18x10 +25 and still have another 2 inches or more till its even close to my coilovers.

Smaller number offset will move the wheel out more. Bigger will move it in more.

20x10 +35 285/25 20s should have went a little higher on the offset.

hey guys i am picking up a set of the FR500 wheels they are 17x9 +24 17x10.5 +27 going to run a 245/40/17 front but im worried about the rears. im going to be running 600-700whp on the street going to run some 305/35 or 315/35/17 mickey thompson radials on the rears. how much pull and fender work will i need? im assuming much like nicks car a page back? btw ill be on JIC coilovers just want it to be maybe a inch and a half lowered around.

I have 17x10 +25 with 275/40/17 Falken 615's with just a roll i was able to clear the fender you may have to pull & roll with that combo, go with a 275 DR it'll still be stickier then a 275 street tire.
