I recall being told I have to loop the lines going into and out of the rack to keep some fluid in the rack. If I remember correctly its the line coming off the banjo bolt. Is this correct? Am I missing anything else?
Remove power steering pump and loop to/from steering rack lines to keep some...
I currently have the hatch shocks with the green stickers, my car was wingless from the factory. I want to buy NEW hatch shocks that hold up a winged hatch. I figure I can order them from Jeff Watson @ Champion, but is there a cheaper place to get them? Anybody have any known part numbers for...
Im trying to figure out what is causing this. It bump starts fine, but occasionally the starter hasnt been turning over.
I put the key to ON, fuel pump turns on
Turn the key to start, lights dim, voltage dips (3-4V dip), starter does not crank
Rarely I will be able to put it back to Off...
I switched my pre89 taillights for an 89+ set a while back. The Pre89 taillights worked fine 100% when I removed them. I noticed a little while ago that one of my 89+ taillight bulbs is out. Not the brake lights, just the running taillight bulb. Since nobody has made an offer for my pre89...
This has happened 3 times total, I think once a week the last 3 weeks.
I will start the car (From a cold start) and the RPMs will jump up to around 2K and stay there. Also, it sounds like there is a big air leak coming from the center of the firewall.
Then, I shut off the engine. I crank...
I have tried 4 different preload settings in the rear but still cannot get rid of the bounce from the rear whenever I go over any part of the road that isn't perfectly flat. It feels like the shock isn't absorbing the bump at all, it transfers to the chassis and throws me up and down in my seat...
This is all about low throttle, closed loop cruising, not going over 3000 RPMs. I'm curious if the RPM affects gas mileage, or if the A/F ratio can simply be read as how much fuel is being used. I imagine the RPM has an effect on the exhaust velocity, but am unsure if the change is big enough to...
I bought a velocity stack to put on the front of my turbo for special occasions (Not going to daily drive like that), but was wondering what I do with the hose going from the intake to the catch can, since there won't be any intake pipe anymore. Can I just leave the line unhooked from the intake...
I bypassed the tail light failure box when my brake lights went out.
I used the writeup at supracentral.com when I originally did it but the link doesn't work anymore.

Im putting USDM 2JZ 550s into my 1JZ, but ran into a problem this weekend when I didn't have all the new o-rings that I needed. I was wondering if someone could get me a link to the 2JZ TSRM so I could find the part number of the injector o rings that I need and/or if someone has any pictures of...
How do I determine what octane is safe for what boost pressure and a/f ratio?
My 57trim CT26 is overboosting and I want to run race gas until it's fixed just to be safe, and I'm wondering if I'll be ok using 100 octane till I get the boost down or if I'll need to be using 110. My fuel system...
Do I still need the relay block in the passenger side kick panel? I don't have heat or ac, does anything else use this relay block/would anything else be affected if I removed it?
Sometimes when I put the key in the passenger door lock, it won't turn to lock. It can turn to unlock, but will refuse to turn the opposite way to lock. Usually locking the driver's door also locks the passenger door, but sometimes it does not. I can also play around with the lock and sometimes...
Once my car gets near operating temp it starts to emit smoke from the exhaust while sitting at idle or cruising in 1st at low RPMs. Driving at normal speeds it's fine, there is no smoke, and decel seems ok too even though I usually just take it out of gear. The stock twins are still boosting...
