So I'm driving home from work, I stop at a stop light.When it turns green I put it in first gear and all I get is grinding and my car is not moving. I throw it into second and I have no problems. All gears shift smoothly except first. Any ideas?

When I bought my MKIII it only came with a one sided valet key and a two sided valet key. I've been to two different Toyota dealers with the VIN # and both dealers said toyota no longer carries that key code. Is this true? The valet keys are a pain because I can only use them in the drivers door...

I'm looking at a MKIII to buy.Supposely it ran fine and then overheated because owner didn't pay attention to gagues.Car won't start and compression is really low.Owner thinks its a BHG and the water pump is out. Would the car not start because of these problems? Thanks
