is the cps aligned the right way? did you hard wire it correctly? have someone turn the cps slowly while u crank. this happened to me when i did my swap and i forgot to center the motor before taking out the cps.
i figured it was a pressure related thing but the thermostat is good and so is the cap. don't know what else is pressure related when it comes to the coolant system
Well this problem has been happening for a month now. I replaced my motor about two months ago. Now the car doesn't overheat at all, actually temps are perfect. Now after driving for a long period of time, I will park the car and you can hear the thermostat "belching" for lack of better words...
new problem. connected back the wire to the sender. now at idle theres no light. but the minute i touch the gas and rpms raise the oil light comes on. the higher the rpm the brighter the light becomes
depends on how soon you need the car. if its a dd, check out the rebuilt one and make sure everything is legit and install it so your up and running and rebuild the one out your car. and for future reference ditch the fcd and upgrade the 550s to 680cc injs if you're looking for 500hps.
I recently did a 7mgte swap in my cressida(front sump). I kept the original location on the dipstick on the turbo instead of drilling for the front sump application. It wasnt until the motor was installed and everything that i realize that i was supposed to bend the tube forward to read the oil...
could be the differential bushings. is the clutch sprung or unsprung? usually upgraded clutches, the higher the stage, the higher the revs have to be to slip it.
