Here is details regarding EDIS installations...
My NA-T runs great on the megasquirt. It took some time to get the maps optimized for stuff like cold start and fuel economy but worth the $136 I paid for it and all I have learnt during the process.
I did it the easy way. I could not bother will all the issues I have heard about using 24/2 vr...
None recent, here is one from from November after first start up.
The power steering pump was making some noise however.

Driveability is fine:ides smooth at 800rpm, revs very responisively to 6800rpm limit, starts easily every time and cruises at 15:1 AFR (user adjustable).
I have not been to the dyno yet though. I will probably have time later this month.

My engine came with distributor by the way, I didn't get the newer one...
For now I dropped in the stock clutch. It should hold 8psi.
Which clutch upgrade do you recommend? The upgraded clutch must feel like stock, not damage the flywheel and be reasonably priced.
I don't intend to go over 400 ft trq, not practical on Jamaican roads anyway. Before I go there though...
I did not use any of the 2jz sensors
36-1 wheel on the crank pulley triggers Ford EDIS Ignition
megasquirt built-in 22.5psi map sensor
GM Intake air temp
GM Coolant temp sensor
The 2jz oil switch triggers my check engine light on my dash
