Its not just stopped up. The motors never come on period. Not sure its all 3 switches bad at once. Dont these cars have some sort of wiper/washer module in them?
Skater, you gonna sell me that header panel? I need to get one heading this way from someone.
None of the 3 listed are working on the car. I have tested all the washer motors in the washer resevoir and they all work with power applied but none of the 3 work from the switch. Any ideas what to check and where?
Thanks
Oh: 1987 Turbo 5 speed
Yeah the 3k range seems about right for what I have. Its not perfect but it does run good, has fresh fluids front to back, mechanically solid, just needs struts in future and paint.
Oh, I have done the head gasket but I went back with stock gasket. I did however install a set of ARP head studs but the lower engine looked great so i didnt want to machine the block surface for the MHG. Of course when that was done is when I did all the hoses, timing belt, ect. I could part...
All the interior switches are in good shape. It does have a 89+ climate control in it. The fogs are of course 89+ along with the front. The mouldings are all original to the car and are in pretty good shape. The interior is also from a '90 by the way. It does have a HKS exhaust and a megan...
I have a '87 Turbo that I've been through mechanically pretty thorough but it just isn't my cup of tea anymore. I think I have officially outgrown Supras this time. Anyway, just wondering what I might should ask for this car. Its very solid mechanically other than it will need struts at some...
There is someone that has a HKS Turbo exhaust in for sale section I believe. I have one of those. Its not loud if thats what you want. I on the other hand love it just for that reason. It sounds nearly stock with a bit of a rumble to it. Just right for me :D
So as some of you know, I've been bringing back to life a '87 Turbo. I have all the wipers working, but no washer on front or back. No head light washers as well. All the pumps work great with power on them. i also have no fog lights. Are these related at all? The reason I ask is my...
No guarantees either one was straight on this car from what I've found with it so far. I did just what you said though, basically. Eyeballed the best side for straight by looking down the side and by looking down from above, then measured from there the other side. Its not what I would call a...
Yes, Nash I bought a '95 Ford F-350 ton flatbed once and when I got it home I was scared to death that I had just driven it home LOL
The ball joints, tie rods, everything were literally falling out of it. Great truck though after I went through the entire suspension. Uhhh, the entire...
Just to update all you curious readers, it was the toe in the rear. I put the new tires on today and when I finished mounting them I got behind the car and just eye-balled the car from the rear. It was very obvious that the right rear tire was trying to turn left. I did a very scientific...
Its not the brakes. I compressed the calipers and they move great. Bled the brakes while I was there and they are releasing fine (tires turn ok). Tires are not great at all but this is pretty bad actually. I am putting a set of tires on it tomorrow so we'll see if that does the trick but I...
Thanks guys. The bushing are probably shot going by what I found on the front end. Will also check the brakes because it seems hard to push also. Not that I've had to push it or anything HAHAHAHA!!!!
When I let off the clutch and accelerate it feels like the rear end yaws to one side pretty bad. Also does it when I hit bumps I just got the car so I haven't driven it before now.
